When Sign In into yahoo messengers it just flash and automatically closing.
Also getting following error.

Reinstall or upgraded to a latest versions is not a solution for this case (I tried up to version 9 )
To solve the Problem
Right click on the shortcut of yahoo messenger
Click on Properties > Advanced > Check the box ' Run with different credentials '
Click on Compatibility > Check the box ' Turn off advanced text services for this program’
Now Run Yahoo messenger
Now you will get a “Run as” window
Click on “The following user” and login as administrator
Now you can login to yahoo messenger.
Next time you login, remove tick from
“Click on Properties > Advanced > Check the box ' Run with different credentials '”
For Permenent solution Remove amvo.exe Trojan.AutoRun.A virus

this was useful. but when i unchek the option of " Run with different credentials" I again get the same problem.

thanx alot.. i can log in.. but idid as you said ,,, next time you log in remove the chech box from ..... but istill when i remove the check box ican not log in again.. means iwill log in all the time as administrator, but i dont wana do this, cuase i have other users on same PC.. would you help me plz..

Still somebody getting the error.
if so avoid last step.
somebody facing problems with login also.
If you are a proxy user you have to change the settings.

Your computer is infected by a virus "amvo.exe", may be an infected USB flash drive caused this.
Please go to start and run msconfig and on start tab check for any entry related to amvo and uncheck them.
Run regedit and remove all entries related to amvo and restart your computer.

i followed the instructions until 'the following user', but still cant log in. i replaced 'administrator' to my email add n enter the password, but it said 'unknown user name or bad password. i dont know how to remove the trojan virus too.. anybody can help??
It did work for some time, but not for long time.. coz it just goes off when I try to login. Help please !
